Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

1. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date on which the contract was concluded (i.e., the date of your order and payment confirmation).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notice of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Important Note: Loss of Right of Withdrawal for Digital Services
Pursuant to § 356 Abs. 5 BGB in conjunction with § 356 Abs. 4 BGB, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have begun to perform the digital service with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that your right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed.
By placing an order and ticking the corresponding checkbox during checkout, you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of the digital service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will lapse once the scan has been fully performed.
If the service (scan report delivery) has already been completed at the time you attempt to withdraw, no refund will be due under the right of withdrawal.
3. Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract before the service has been fully performed, we will reimburse you for all payments received. The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for this reimbursement.
If you have requested the service to begin during the withdrawal period and have provided the express consent described in Section 2, we may charge a pro-rata amount for the portion of the service that has already been provided at the time of withdrawal.
4. Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal for Business Customers
The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers acting outside their trade, business, or profession. Business customers (§ 14 BGB) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.
